About
The cluster event is held by Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club (www.smkcga.com) and Lawrenceville Kennel Club (www.lawrencevillekennelclub.org).
Lake Lanier Cluster Chairperson: Bob LaBerge ([email protected]) The Lake Lanier Cluster inaugural show in 2019 was a huge success. Building upon that enthusiasm, the 2024 show should prove to be an awesome event!
The Gwinnett County Fairgrounds is a wonderful venue to host a 5-day show with nice climate-controlled buildings and a very large, covered arena for amble spacing of rings. The main Exhibit building will house conformation rings in 2024. The covered arena will showcase FSS Open Shows. The Entertainment Building will feature specialty shows and conformation rings. Fast CAT, Farm Dog Certification, CGC/CGCA, and Trick Dog Testing will also be available on the show site. The fairground has wonderful newly renovated RV sites which feature full hookups and level parking. In addition, grooming spaces with electrical hookups can be reserved and several dog washing areas will be available. Several exhibitor appreciation events will be planned during the show with information on all available at Show Central in the main Exhibit building. Merchandise and Food vendors will also be on site during the show. Downtown Lawrenceville is only about 5 miles from the site and offers unique, local businesses as well as some great eateries. We are so excited about this venue in Gwinnett County and that this location gets lots of public traffic. It gives the general public here the chance to enjoy a dog show and see all the other events available to those who enjoy the fancy. This should encourage people by allowing them to see what they can do with their own dogs and allow them to see some of the top dogs in the country! We look forward to seeing you there! We appreciate your participation and support for this fabulous 2024 AKC Dog Show! |
